For AGUNSA, port activity has always been one of its strategic growth pillars and this concession confirms it, considering the variety of ports where we are operating in Chile and other Latin American countries. Being in Valparaíso is a first step towards being a relevant actor for the next concession process”.

Without a doubt, this is an important step for the reactivation of the commune considering the great engine of well-being and economic growth that the port is for Valparaíso, and also considering the increase in competitiveness that this new operator will imply”.

AGUNSA will maintain the operation of Terminal 2 until March 2026, a period in which EPV will have the task of carrying out the final tender to finalize the port expansion.
